ALPHA is coming

Have you seen the signs: ALPHA IS COMING…and then: ALPHA IS HERE?

The person on the logo is carrying a question mark…like many others, he has so many questions about Christianity!

SO…What is an Alpha Course?

ALPHA is a basic, low-keyed, informational course, which affects each person as an individual. Through a series of entertaining, informative video talks shown weekly, foundations of being a Christian are presented and then discussed in a small group setting.

Once a week, the Alpha Course brings people together for a dinner, a video, and then a small group discussion. The night ends on time!

ANYONE AT ANY AGE may attend – this is a Christian based course with an emphasis on living the Christian life. Although our course is held here at St. Agnes, those in attendance are from various churches in the West Chester Area.

Many churches in our area are also running the Alpha Course several times throughout the year. Anywhere you go to attend an Alpha Course, the course will be the same information and format.

There is no fee . A book is given for note taking, which includes an outline of each video talk that the whole group watches over a 10-week period.

You may have a spouse of a different faith, or know someone who has fallen away from Christianity. The Alpha Course could be a key to communicating about Christianity. It really is a great way to enrich your own faith! If this idea interests you, registration forms will be available in August and September or you may call the St. Agnes Rectory (610) 692-2990 and leave your name and phone number. There is no obligation, just come check it out!

ALPHA COURSE KICK-OFF NIGHT ON SEPTEMBER 14 TH!!!

LIGHT SNACKS AND DRINKS FOR ALL!

HOPE TO SEE YOU THEN!

(This Fall, we are hoping to provide babysitting and homework space for those who have school age children…details will unfold and will be in the bulletin over the summer)
